HumiNature from "Humi" as in water, the source
of all life and essential for vitality of hair and skin. "Nature" which God created for
mankind to nurture us and for us to steward. Humanity takes from the
source and creates those things we need for our survival and enjoyment.
We at HumiNature strive to provide one
thing for you, our client.
That one thing is value. Our philosophy is outlined in the paragraphs that follow. If this
resonates with you, we hope you’ll choose to become a client.
We think value is more important than just great prices, more important
than just providing the best products and more important than just
providing excellent customer service. Value is the just the right combination of all three. Any of these three things without the other two is
worthless. There are companies that compete on price alone.
You know who they are. They are all over the place and most of
them come and go. However, there is a place for those
companies. We all love a bargain. But, when a company is
focused solely on providing the lowest price, they are forced to cut
corners and to skimp on the quality of their products in favor of ever
lowering their costs. In the long run, service suffers and poor
quality products are offered to you, the customer. Relationships
built on this model are fragile and fleeting.
Other companies focus solely on "quality". They provide great
products in fancy packages and charge an arm and a leg for them.
While it’s reasonable to expect to pay more for quality, no one wants
to pay more simply to get a name, a pretty label and a fancy
package. Just take a trip
to the cosmetics counter at the mall, if you want to see examples of
these types of companies. Generally, they offer average to
high quality products, at least they're generally better than you'd
find at your local discount store. But, they charge exorbitant
price for their fancy packaging, their name and their location.
HumiNature is
committed to offering you only the best quality products available at
competitive prices. We partner with manufacturers who have not
forgotten that making a quality product is more important than making a
cheap product. You will not find most of the products we offer in
the grocery stores or drug stores because the nature of that
marketplace is to provide products to less discriminating consumers who
value convenience or price over quality. HumiNature also
produces high quality, natural products with no compromises. When
we formulate a product, our number one concern is “How will this product work?”
We make the product to meet the standards we know that our
discriminating clientele demands. We resist the temptation to
water it down or fill it with cheap “inactive” ingredients to lower our
cost or the price. Then, we price our products fairly.
Generally, you will find our products cost more than the drug store
brands. But, when you compare our ingredient lists to theirs, you will
quickly see why. Then, compare our ingredient lists to those
making similar products; if you can even find comparable
products. You’ll find we are a fraction of the cost of many of
the all natural products on the maket.
Ironically, we get two pricing questions quite often. First, "Why are your prices so high?"
Compared to your corner drug store, our prices will tend to be
higher. But, we think you understand why. Our ingredients
are more expensive. Our methods of production (often hand made)
tend to cost more because our products are made in small batches.
Most importantly to you, our products work better. The second
question we get is "Why are your
prices so low?". For items like our Shea Butter and all
natural skin care products, you'll find people charging sometimes two
to five times what our prices are. The reason is not that their
costs are so much higher but they are taking advantage of the buzz that
has been generated around some key ingredients like CoQ10 or DMAE or
Shea Butter. We attempt to offer our products at a fair price
that allows you a value and gives us enough profit to keep investing in
the business and bring you even more products.
The picture is not complete without service. If we provided the best
products at fantastic prices, but forgot that we are here to serve you,
we might get a sale from you- once. But, we would quickly lose
you as a client. You may have noticed we use the word client as
opposed to customer. That is because our goal at HumiNature is to
develop a relationship with you. We want you to come back again
and again and tell all of your friends about us. That will only
happen if you’re thrilled with both our products and our service.
